Booked
You're on the calendar.
A calendar invite is on its way to your inbox. Below is how to make the most of the thirty minutes.
What the call is
Thirty minutes, no commitment, honest assessment.
The goal is to figure out whether Front Office is the right engagement for your firm, whether something else fits better, or whether the right answer is to wait.
If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will tell you that on the call. We are not running a sales funnel; we are sizing up an engagement and being honest about whether to take it.
Worth thinking about
A few questions to chew on before we talk.
Not homework. The conversation is just better if you have already thought about these.
- 01
Where you are now
What does your current website look like? What works, what does not? If specific pages or features bug you, name them.
- 02
Where you want to be
When a new prospect Googles your firm and lands on the homepage, what should they immediately understand about you?
- 03
The tools you actually use
TaxDome, Karbon, Canopy, ClickUp, something else, nothing yet? Calendar booking? Client portal? Anywhere your intake quietly leaks?
- 04
Your firm's shape
Solo, small team, growing? Tax season is the busy time, off-season is when systems work happens. Where are you in that cycle right now?
- 05
The non-negotiables
Anything you absolutely need or absolutely will not accept in a website rebuild? Telling us up front saves time on both sides.
Helpful to have on hand
Not required, just useful if it is easy.
You do not have to send anything before the call. But if these are within reach, the conversation moves faster.
-
Your current website URL
-
A recent intake form or onboarding email so we can see how the firm intakes today
-
Any brand assets you have (logo, color preferences, photos)
-
Two or three websites you actually like, in any industry. The taste reference helps.
What happens after
Three possible paths out of the call.
If Front Office is the right fit, you will get a written proposal within two business days. It is the standard Front Office Statement of Work, customized for your scope and any add-ons we discussed. Sign and pay the deposit and we kick off.
If something else fits better, we will say so on the call and, where we can, point you to whoever handles the work we are not the right fit for.
If now is not the right time, that is fine too. We will send a brief check-in note in a few months. Tax practices have seasons; engagements do not always start the day you discover the need.
Reschedule or cancel
Plans change. The calendar invite has a reschedule link, or you can just reply to it. If you have a question before the call, email jeremy@romanservices.net and we will come back to you.
